Customer Reviews

"My local go to. It's always fresh. It's high quality. Staff very friendly. The way restaurants should be."

- Maxwell B.

"Finally a restaurant that hopefully stays!! I've been coming here since they opened and let me say they do not disappoint! I use to go to the one in Downey off of imperial and old school river road but the service is horrible as the workers are rude and food not so good either. Now here at this Alberto's on the other hand it is great!! I will continue to come back because of their kindness and also for the food, it is delicious! The service is just the cherry on top! Will be back for sure "

"It's not the prettiest, fanciest food spot. But there are plenty of Mexican food options on a main corner. I love their food! I had the shrimp taco plate! The sauces offered are good too! (Green is my favorite) Crunchy tacos are good too! The chicken is like mild tinga. Loaded fries are good too! Go treat yourself. Side note There is an extra charge if you pay with a card. Cash is better here. Side note The aquas are too sweet for me. (Maybe ask for lots of ice. ) Side note ask for the cheese to be under the meat on the tacos!!! (Yummy....melted cheese is better!) Update: I've been back!!! Love the Mariano's shrimp fries . It comes with refried beans, grilled peppers & onions on top!! They use shoe string sized fries!! I also love the Mexican eggs breafast! Eggs with peppers & onions mixed in, with rice & beans on the side! Comes with tortillas. I preferred chips, to dip the beans and rice! The Chile relleno burrito is fire also!"

"So, I've lived in the neighborhood since 2018. This place has changed hands at least 3 times. But! Super Albertio's, I hope and pray you are here to stay because the food is delicious. I always go through the drive thru, and it's super fast. The first time, I ordered the number 2. Hard shell tacos (shredded beef) with rice and beans. Sooo good. The second time, I had the number 3. The enchiladas plate (shredded beef), omg! You can taste the freshness in the food and their salsas. I will continue to try different things on the menu, but so far.. They are here to stay and I really believe that. The people working there are nice and very welcoming. Try it, you won't regret it."

"It has been almost thirty years since I've been to Albertios. I found this location by total accident. Longer than 30 years ago, I was working with local bands inSanDiego, and after wrapping everything up, we'd go to Albertos or Robertos, and I thought about this while I was eating. All locations are designed the same, same menu and omg... the hotel carrots are still awesome. Of course, today, the prices have increased, but the food was soooo worth it. Ty for awesome food and bringing back some great memories..."

"Leo's Burgers has been on this corner forever! And when you try them, you will understand why. This is a good old fashioned burger joint. Though they are putting out much more than just good burgers. Their breakfast menu covers several choices to satisfy the entire family. Lunch and dinner choices range from hot dogs and burritos to fried chicken and salads. Great customer service and decent prices. If you're hungry, Leo's can fix that."

"Tomorrow 4th day in a row I'm eating here I want to try EVERYTHING on the menu"
